Sorry folks for not being around lately. That being said, in lack of a better idea right now (it’s 10 PM and sleep calls), here’s a Noland circle painting that isn’t by Noland… but by Alma Woodsey Thomas. Like in most of her paintings, she prefers to unleash the colors not through huge field but through relatively small mosaique blocks. And just look at those gorgeous shades of red and orange!
